Privacy on this website
This website has no accounts, forms, analytics tools or adverts, and its pages contain no scripts. Personal data is processed in two situations: when you open a page and when you write to the contact address.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is the publisher of this website, Dominik Trojanowski Vertias. The publisher’s address is on the Publisher and contact page. For anything concerning personal data, write to kontakt.vertias@gmail.com.
When you open a page
The website is served by a hosting provider, Cloudflare. Like any web server, its servers process the IP address and technical browser details of whoever opens a page.
- Purpose and legal basis: showing you the page and protecting the website against abuse — the publisher’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Recipient: Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which serves the website on the publisher’s behalf. It may also process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case, according to its own policies, it relies on the Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- Retention: the publisher keeps no statistics or visit logs of its own. How long Cloudflare keeps technical data is set by Cloudflare’s own policies.
- Required or optional: the IP address is technically necessary — without it the server cannot send the page.
When you write to the contact address
The publisher then receives your email address and your message.
- Purpose and legal basis: replying to you and dealing with the matter you raise — the publisher’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Recipient: Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) — the contact mailbox is a Gmail account. Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case, according to its own policies, it relies on adequacy decisions, the Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- Retention: messages have no fixed deletion date. They stay in the mailbox for as long as they are needed to deal with the matter and to show how it was dealt with. You can ask for your message to be deleted.
- Required or optional: writing is up to you; without a return address the publisher cannot reply.
- Automated decisions: the publisher makes no automated decisions on the basis of correspondence and does not use it for profiling.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, or for its processing to be restricted, and you can object to the processing — just write to the contact address. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).
Cookies and the browser cache
The website’s pages contain no scripts and nothing loaded from other sites, and the website’s own configuration sets no cookies. The hosting provider may in some situations set technical cookies needed to protect and run the website. As with any site, your browser may keep the downloaded files in its cache.
